A vicarious sense of wonder

Yesterday Journey won five British Academy Games Awards. Today Celia came round and I watched her play it. It was absolutely lovely watching someone else discover their way through it, and I delighted in her glee, despair and triumph.

And then I discovered that God Of War I and II were going for a combined £10 on the Playstation Store. So I bought that. For when I next have a spare game-playing slot. In 2017.

Time to declare victory and go to bed (particularly after being woken at least five times in the night by my own thrice-damned coughing)!
