Cool non-linear software

TiddlyWiki isn't a Wiki in the sense I'm used to (something anyone can edit) - it's a non-linear information presentation system. You start with a few items open and then open new ones you want to read, which open in the place you're looking at.

I think it might be useful, for the right information. I just need to think what information that might be...

Aaah, honesty at last

Like many of you I think self-improvement is a fantastic idea.

I, however, have enough self-awareness to know that I'm just not going to spend all that time down the gym, that I'll continue to read a fair bit, but of the wrong kinds of books, will probably tame a neurosis or two, but not the right ones, or enough of them and will generally continue to be a lazy layabout whose idea of a good time is beating my flatmate at Mario-Kart best two out of three.

If you could do with a refreshingly witty injkection of this same honesty then go here and read some tips on how you won't improve your life overnight, along with a few actually useful things you can do without vast amounts of effort (and are therefore vaguely likely to actually manage).

And a merry christmas to me!

Finally made it home for a couple of  hours - to discover that my brother drainboy, as well as getting me Prince of Persia: Warrior Within (sequel to the amazing Sands of Time) also procured Donkey Konga!  Cue much drumming silliness and Ed leaving the room in horror.  I suspect he'll be using it as soon as I'm out of the flat...

Next up is Metroid Prime and Zelda: Wind Waker (which other brother stenchpuppy) got me.

And it's a very merry GameCubeMas for me!
