I buy my groceries online
all of the time
most of the time
about half the time
less than half the time
pretty much never
The top thing that could be done to make me buy my groceries online is...
making the slots easier to book
not having a delivery charge
the food being as fresh as if I go to the store myself
having more chilled/frozen storage so I could keep it fresh for longer
nothing. I like shopping in person.
Personally, we almost never do online shopping because we live a five minute walk from a large Sainsbury's, and so I just get off and pick up stuff for dinner on the way home. If we lived somewhere less convenient then I'd be very tempted to do a lot of it.
And I think the article might be right that most people don't actually want to do their grocery shopping online - it just doesn't add enough convenience for them.
