The ever-entertaining [info]slammerkinbabe pointed me at this piece on speed-book-dating. The idea being that you have your standard 5-minutes-with-each-person speed date, only you have, on the table in front of you, your 3 favourite books, to inspire conversation. Five minutes intensive conversation about their favourite books sounds like the kind of thing that people I know could get to grips with :->

Of course I really meant to write The Complete Works of William Shakespeare, Crime and Punishment and A la Recherche du Temps Perdu, but my fingers slipped.
